Overview
EX LIBRIS is a fragrance brand that translates to from the library of in French. The brand philosophy is cataloging the beautiful story of each perfume likewise a book in a library. While we were facing a once-in-a-century pandemic circumstances, our client aspired to venture into the realm of online perfume commerce. To assist her in establishing her own web-based enterprise, we extended our support by conducting thorough research and developing a prototype.
Our Solution
Insight studio helped to define the pain points of perfume industry online and provided alternative solutions. In addition, we helped branding to showcase their brand identity well on the website.
Challenges
The first one is to figure out How to create an alternative experience for successfully selling perfumes in a website instead of the actual experience in brick-and-mortar stores.
The other one is to showcase brand identity through designs on the website.
Project Highlight
Magazine style homepage
The main page is the most important for showcasing the brand identity and also determining the customer's next move. For brand recognition, We designed home page as magazine style to give an atmosphere of perfume library to users.
Fragrance test
We put the Quiz button on the main page to address the fragrance test issue online. The Quiz has an important function here to capture the customer's attention first and to suggest a perfume compatible with their preferences in the results section.
